I don’t generally like the word ‘diet’ as I see it more as a life style change that you keep following throughout your life and not just to lose weight. You must maintain that healthy eating habit if you wish to stay healthy and fit, right? Having said that, I came across this book yesterday and it appealed to me a great deal. It was only $5.99 (a steal) and it has some very nice, light (but filling) recipes so I grabbed it.
What you see on the plate are two mini Steamed Green Tea and Blueberry Muffins that I made last night. 1 recipe made 12 and 1 serve is 2 mini muffins (or 1 normal sized muffin – we only had the mini muffin tin). They only have 193 calories, 3g of fat and 14g of sugar, although this book doesn’t require calorie counting, it simply has healthy (and smaller than usual portion) recipes. I had one last night to try with my usual evening treat; a cup of cocoa, and this morning I had 2 for breakfast; the category this recipe fell under. Tomorrow morning I may just make the Tofu Spanish omelette 😉
